We have found almost everyone we have worked with to be helpful, hard working and honest. However, it can be challenging to track down companies to maintain & improve your dream mountain home. Do your own due diligence but this is a list of companies we have used or have been recommended to us by trusted people in the know. This is not meant to be comprehensive but a starting point.

Handyman, Landscaper & Tree Service

Handyman - Steward & Son has been an amazing find for us. They have saved the day on frozen pipes and helped with many other projects like installing gutters. Trustworthy, friendly and fair priced.

Landscaping Service: Maintenance - Steward & Son also handles our lawn and garden maintenance and does an excellent job.

Landscaping: Installations - Samscapes has helped us with a fun creative project where they installed hundreds of tulips, daffodils & more.

Tree Service - Tucker's Tree Service & Excavating - quick, professional & reliable for dead limbs, view improvement & more.

Internet, Phone, Security, Home Automation & AV

Internet & Phone - Blue Ridge Mountain EMC has been a reliable & reasonably priced vendor. Internet coverage in the mountains can be spotty but we have strong coverage - upgrade to the max plan.

Security, Home Automation and Audio/TV installs - Blue Ridge Surveillance came highly recommended & has been great with a new install and local, friendly and professional service.
