Started in 2012, "Fresh air, Fresh water, fresh beer" tagline says it all. See what they are up to.
Wineries & Vineyards
Blue Ridge and surrounding areas have grown up in terms of offering quality vines for all types of vinophiles. The area has also emerged as a destination for bachelorette parties, live music and big gathering. A few of our faves.

Mercier Orchards
You can make a day out of this stunning property. After the kids pick fruit, head for a flight of local ciders or wine. Started in 1943, visit this icon.
Bars
Lots of places with character & a welcoming bartender await. Bar hop on foot. We'll start at the south end of downtown. Many of our favorite restaurants also have great places to post up at the bar, starting with The Black Sheep, Chester's, Whiskey & Water and Boat Dock Bar & Grill.
The Dogwood
Friendly staff, inventive bar food, a beer garden in the back and great front porch and deck with a living room and bar in the middle. A go to afternoon hangout.
Black Bear Bier Garten
A long bar and good German brews & pretzels and sausages on offer. A nice escape among downtown's busy streets. Listen to the wisdom of their sign "Husband Day Care Center."
The Boro Inn
Vintage Irish bar with a welcoming owner & odd hours.
Hook & Eye
Rooftop bar with downtown views above the Hampton Inn.
There are many other bars, wineries, breweries & even a distillery near by. Make a plan and have a blast. Don't forget to hire the driver or stay downtown and go nuts.
